Public Engagement and Dissemination

Why it is important to me

Teaching the public about the work I do is very important to me because it brings museum work to the public's attention. This makes museums stronger because if the public is invested in the work that they do, then they will be more interested in visiting and participating in museum activities. Additionally, it will encourage people to think about museums in new ways and about their own objects and stories in new ways. Hopefully, my work in collaboration and decolonization will also inspire others in the field to engage in such practices.
